Meet Maya!
She was unwanted by her owner so she was dumped in a ditch by the river where she lived with her sister until she was rescued. She probably has never been petted or received love before as she did not know how to act and will not pass through the front door. She would go up to it but never go though until we had to carry her. She is full of life and has warmed up to her foster family! She has gotten down how to be a “dog” by watching two large dogs in the household. She loves to run, run, run and would make a great workout partner and guard dog. She would also love to just spend time on your couch licking your face like an ice cream cone! You WILL get tired before she does! She is very smart and good with kids, cats and other dogs. .
