Meet Sully!!! He is a FANTASTIC red doberman boy who has clearly had a tough life. But don't let his scars intimidate you. Sully is all about the LOVE.

Upon meeting Sully, things just did not add up. How could this boy have been in such a horrible dog fight but still love other dogs so much. When he sees others he immediately is ready to play and whimpers just to let the others know he is ready for some fun. Whether human or canine, Sully is ready to be the best friend ever.

Off to the vets he went to see what could be figured out. His face looked like a shattered mirror.  The vets guess that he is about 1 1/2 - 2 years old. He weighs in at right about 80 pounds. And it was guessed that all his scarring was caused by a fight, but not with another dog, with a boar. That is right, one of those wild pigs with huge teeth. Apparently the boar thrashes about causing the slicing type of wounds that this poor boy was victim to. His ears are also a bit rugged. Good thing is, Sully does not seem to mind. He is all healed up and ready to move on to far better things.

Sully gets along with every human he has met, including kids. He has been great with the dogs he has met. However, Sully and cats would not be a good combination.

Sully is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting this amazing and very loving boy, please contact Scout's Honor at info@scoutshonor.org

Sully is also looking for a foster and/or a sponsor. It costs about $400 a month to keep a dog in boarding. If you can foster that would help tremendously. Scout's Honor will continue to cover all expenses related to fostering Sully, vet care, monthly heartworm and flea prevention, etc. However, if you cannot foster, you can still help Sully by donating to his care. Just click the donate tab at http://www.scoutshonor.org/ and indicate that the donation is for Sully’s care. You can also contact us at info@scoutshonor.org
