Sweet, amazing Ruthie!!! As we were walking kennels at Harris County Animal Control looking at dogs for operation shelter pull, Ruthie just sat at her kennel door watching. You could feel her desperate pleas to be one that was picked. We just could not ignore this precious girl waiting so patiently for her chance at new life.

Ruthie is a mix of mixes, a hint of beagle, a dash of pointer, a splash of lab and who knows what else went into making this wonderful little girl. She is sweet and soft and gentle. Ruthie gets along with other dogs too.

She is just about a year old and heartworm negative. You can tell she is the kind of girl who just wants to make you happy and be loved and safe for the rest of her life. Can you promise her that? The reward will be yours!!!
