Poor little Posey most definitely would have been a victim of black dog syndrome. Black dogs, regardless of how beautiful and wonderful, have the hardest time getting out of the shelters. They just get overlooked as they blend in too much with their kennels.

But get this little munchkin out into the sunshine, and you will see that she is beautiful. Not even black but the gorgeous coloring of a seal with beautiful browns and black blending together.

Posey is incredibly sweet natured and full of gentle hugs and kisses. She was so happy to be rescued. Imagine how happy she will be when she finds her forever home that will love and care for her always!!!

Posey is just about 10 months old, probably around 34-40 pounds, gets along perfectly with other dogs and is heartworm negative.
