We also got sweet Lewis whose despicable owner dumped him at the pound after 10 years of loyalty. Why you ask??? We kid you not - “because he is old and dull”. This poor boy is severely underweight and obviously neglected for years. He’s just the sweetest old man though and was just a perfect  gentleman to our third newest member, Lula, a little bitty 7 year-old with cataracts who was making her way to be euthanized as we arrived. Lula just curled up on the floorboard of the front seat and Lewis just laid right by her.

He is such a lovebug!!  He wants to be right by his foster family and loves pets.  He's great with kiddos and every dog he has met.  He's even learning how to play!

He is currently heartworm positive but has already begun the slow-kill treatment to get rid of those. Scout’s Honor will continue to cover my treatment until I am cleared. If you have any questions just email them at  info@scoutshonor.org
